Many 3rd TGS who merely wanted to freshen up their knowledge also took part, however. After all, there had been small but significant changes to the programmes and these were explained in detail. The 3-day seminar was held by Sifu Thomas Schrön, 6th PG and Sifu Bernd Wagner, 5th PG, the first and third days being organised by Sifu Bernd Wagner. Sifu Thomas Schrön taught on the second day, with the assistance of Sifu Jörg Kilian. Together they demonstrated the sequences and the associated applications. The aim was to master the 5 Biu-Tze Chi-Sao sections and their interaction, with the focus on understanding the background to these programmes. How what works, and at the right time. Major emphases were developed so that every participant made useful progress. The purely technical procedure was that the 1st Biu-Tze Chi-Sao section was trained in the first session of day 1, followed by the 2nd section in the 2nd session. This process was continued on the second and third day, so that at the end all five sections had been systematically practiced down to the last detail. The final session was devoted to the wooden dummy, the first 30 movements being explained and practiced in detail. Both WingTsun masters took care to ensure that the different requirements and needs of the individual participants were met. Numerous corrections of movement sequences, stances and form training rounded the whole thing off.

Positioning and conscious focus were improved. How does one learn to control one’s "consciousness"? What results can be achieved? The seven sources of power and the "idea of the forms" were discussed in theory. In this way the two WT masters were able to maintain a high level and full concentration throughout the seminar. On the 4th day there was a pre-Easter TG class with GM Kernspecht, and all those who had taken part during the preceding 3 days had the opportunity to have their stances checked, i.e. to pass the second or third parts of the examination. GM Kernspecht was in great form as usual, and despite the generally high quality he was able to show each individual his minor or major technical weaknesses. This was followed by intensive practice until all were personally satisfied with their progress. The aim of the Technician seminar was to study technical approaches and develop these in the future, implementing what was shown and absorbing its effects in future training. GM Kernspecht explained the connection between Poon-Sao and the subsequent sections. Since Poon-Sao is the basis of Chi Sao, this was discussed in detail. Working with the right angles and developing the right "tactile feeling" to give way. All in all one can say that each participant gained a great deal of knowledge and many ideas from these four days. It is now up to each individual to obtain results from this. And not least, everybody had plenty of fun in addition to the technical aspects.
