While somebody uses Frank Schäfer’s name to ask the excluded national instructor: "Dear Si-dai Turan, did you really falsify certificates?

Dai-Sifu Frank Schäfer", the same trickster, this time misusing the name of Sifu König for a change, writes: "Hi Sidai, to be honest I have never liked you much. It was high time that the last Turk left us. Dai-Sifu Oliver König"

As the spelling mistake in the forged certificates reveals, these entries could not possibly come from the two EWTO national instructors (who have registered their protest at the end of this article), and neither has the last Turk left the EWTO in the person of the forger, nor does the EWTO ascribe shortcomings in the character of individuals to an entire nation.

For example, some of Master König’s closest Sifus and colleagues are Turks, and GM Kernspecht has just produced large sequences of photos for the revised edition of his book "On Single Combat" with Zafer Tuncer, who is a Turk ...

The first casualty in cases like this is unfortunately always the truth.

Neither are the rumours spread among Mr Ataseven’s instructors true that the founder and head of the EWTO, GM Kernspecht, is a "Freemason", and that he wanted to compel the excluded national instructor to become a Freemason.

GM Kernspecht is not a Freemason, neither does he belong to any other secret society. But as we have learned Freemasons are not particularly popular amongst Turks, therefore this lie has proved useful in keeping Turkish assistants on board who would otherwise have remained loyal to the EWTO.

The following is what Sifu Frank Schäfer (Holland) REALLY says:

Hello Turan,

It was with some amazement that I saw the supposed visitor’s book entry which has appeared on your website unasked in my name...

(and with so many awful spelling mistakes in such a short piece!)

But since you did not even take the trouble to ask me about anything, I have to assume that the question which purports to come "from me" actually comes from you. The fact that you did not even send me the answers that are supposed to be "to me" is a further indication as far as I am concerned.

Indeed this makes any further comment about your rather arrogant answers "to me" a waste of time, but for the sake of good order:

1. I would never address an EX-colleague as 'Sidai' or similar.(And apart from that, you have never been my 'Sihing' anyway, but never mind.)

2. I do not need any supercilious advice about my subject knowledge.(Especially as this seems to me to be somehow really odd in your situation.)

3. Why should I want to have a meeting with you of all people?

(Why not tell your fairy stories to someone who is interested in them?)

By the way, the (forged) entry "by Sifu König" could only be regarded as ludicrous if it were not for the unjustified and nasty accusation of racism. I would never have thought that you too would now succumb to using such methods of dishing up lies in public; after all, if you were not the author yourself, you could have deleted this entry long ago!

But I suppose one never stops learning. Anyway, I expect you to remove this fictitious entry in my name from your website at once, and if this does not happen very soon I reserve the right to take legal action.

Naturally I shall rectify the matter just as publicly on my own website, especially since I long ago stated on my NWTO site that I do not give my views either in visitors’ books or forums - I have my own domain where I can do this.

And if I should have a question, I ask it directly by email and not via a visitor’s book...

The REAL Sifu Oliver König (Austria) rejects the entry as follows:

I did not write entry No. 99. It is symptomatic for some envious individuals to denounce me, my colleagues or the EWTO in this way.

The way in which anonymous and cowardly, wrong assertions are made in this entry or others is beneath my dignity, and I am ashamed that there are people in our sector - whatever their association or teacher, and whatever their origin - who show such dishonourable behaviour that they cast a bad light on the entire martial arts scene!

PS: As for my supposed hostility to foreigners: I am proud of the fact that I teach people of many nationalities; I have many Turks as students, and two of my most senior group instructors and Sifus, who are part of my most intimate circle, are Turks.
